The namesake of the courts: Glenn and Sue Vernon
On Feburary 6, 2024, the Gatesville High School Tennis Courts were renamed to the Glenn and Sue Vernon Tennis Courts. Glenn and Sue Vernon are incredible athletes and coaches that have carried the past, present, and future of Gatesville tennis on their shoulders. The Gatesville High School Tennis team and many players in the Gatesville area would not be where they are today without Glenn and Sue Vernon. We at Spur Tennis Club want to thank them both for all they have done!
